Born in Belgium in 1981, Shi Bo Cédric Mallants grew up in South Africa,
where he began practicing Luo Han Quan of the Shun Wu Tang Family at the age of seven.
He first received traditional instruction from his father, Shi Bo Christian Mallants, himself a direct disciple within the Shun Wu Tang lineage.

After many years of dedicated training, he began teaching in Ballan-Miré in 2003, where he led a school for three years.
In 2006, he founded the Brive-la-Gaillarde Branch, marking the official establishment of a second Shun Wu Tang school in France.
Six years later, in 2012, he opened another branch in Ainhoa, in the Basque Country, continuing the transmission of the Luo Han Quan Way.

Martial Training:

His first teacher was his father, Shi Bo Christian Mallants.
Today, he trains directly under Grand Master Su Jin Miao, the head and guardian of the Shun Wu Tang lineage,
through whom he continues to refine his art and advance along the Martial Way (Wu Dao).

Over the years, Cédric has also studied and practiced various martial disciplines including
Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido, Kung Fu Wushu, as well as attending numerous Free Fight and Close Combat seminars.
Driven by a profound passion for movement, martial strategy, and internal discipline,
he has competed at the national level, while pursuing advanced training in physical conditioning, Chinese martial arts, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Since 2006, he has traveled regularly to Taiwan to study under Grand Master Su Jin Miao,
deepening his Luo Han Quan practice and cultivating a greater understanding of Chinese philosophy and culture.
These journeys form the living thread of his continuous progress along the Martial Path.

Traditional Chinese Medicine:

Trained in Acupuncture, Pharmacopoeia, and Tui Na / An Mo, Cédric also holds a solid foundation in Western Medicine.

Between 2013 and 2017, he lived in Taipei (Taiwan) to deepen his study of Traditional Chinese Medicine within its cultural and philosophical roots,
while remaining close to his Master and the heart of the Shun Wu Tang Family.

Later settling in the Netherlands, he obtained his Foundation Diploma in Western Medicine from the University of Shen Zou (Amsterdam).

He subsequently opened his integrative medical practice in Eindhoven, where he combines Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine,
offering each patient a holistic, personalized, and balanced treatment.
Since 2025, he has been pursuing an advanced specialization in oncology.

In 2025, Cédric founded the Shun Wu Tang Branch of Waalre (Netherlands),
marking his return to martial instruction and the direct transmission of the lineage.
This renewed commitment symbolizes both the continuity of the Shun Wu Tang Family in Europe
and the faithful adherence to the teachings of Grand Master Su Jin Miao.

Responsibilities and Lineage:

Holder of a 5th Degree Black Belt,
Shi Bo Cédric Mallants currently serves as technical supervisor for all Shun Wu Tang Branches in Europe.
He ensures the preservation of tradition, ethics (Wu De), and the purity of the style as transmitted by Grand Master Su Jin Miao,
thus safeguarding the authentic continuity of the Way for future generations.
