Shun Wu Tang Lineage

The SU family has lived in Taiwan since 1736, in the village of Guang Kou, in the Yunlin region.
The very first style practiced by the SU family was Tai Tzu of the Hokkien style.
The art of Luo Han Quan / Shun Wu Tang was brought to Taiwan by Master Lou Loong.
Very little is known about him. Around 1850, our great-great-grandmaster SU Sing trained under his guidance.
The second master of Shun Wu Tang was Master WU Chi,
who trained our grandmaster SU Mo, representing the third generation and father of our current master.
It was Master SU Mo who structured and organized the Shun Wu Tang system that we all practice today.
By his will, our Luo Han style became a combination of Northern Luo Han Quan and Southern Luo Han Quan.
Our current Master is one of the sons of Grand Master SU Mo: SU Jin Miao.
The Luo Han Quan / Shun Wu Tang style is therefore a family system,
passed down from generation to generation within the SU family established in Taiwan.
Shun Wu Tang means “the art of continuous combat,” and to this day, the system remains active in Taiwan,
Hong Kong, South Africa, and France.
